Choose a book of your liking. This is the time to read something that interests you! Choose a novel or short story that will take you at least 5 days to read.
Each day I want you to write a short journal about that day's reading:
By the end of the week you should have 5 journal entries. Please email them to me! I'd love to see what you're reading and possibly get some ideas for myself!

Activity 1: Read. At least 20 minutes per day. Choose a novel you enjoy. Use the CVS Learn from Home page to explore different types of reading. Listen to a book, read news articles, or try a genre that you have never read before.

You are living through a moment that will become part of history. Write down your thoughts and feelings about the world we live in today. Feel free to share anything with me. I would love to hear how your feeling and coping with the world that seems to be changing ever single day.

Right now things are very unsettled in regards to what will happen with education. As a student living through this pandemic, what do you think the state government should do in regards to the rest of the school year? Respond in a formal letter to Michigan Board of Education. Use argumentative techniques and strong evidence to support your ideas.
