READ!
Choose a book of your liking. This is the time to read something that interests you! Choose a novel or short story that will take you at least 5 days to read.
Each day I want you to write a short journal about that day's reading:
By the end of the week you should have 5 journal entries. Please email them to me! I'd love to see what you're reading and possibly get some ideas for myself!

March 30- April 3
Activity 1 - Read the article and reflect on what information you learned or what questions you have.
Activity 2 - Reflect and respond in a letter to the Michigan Board of Education regarding what you think should be the plan for graduating seniors. Use argument techniques and thoughtful language to strengthen your views. Activity 3- Make connections Contact at least three people that you don't talk to routinely, but still think about. Call, text, or email them. Check in on them, but also say something that isn't related to COVID-19. Tell them something you love about them, a special memory you have of them, or anything else that is on your mind. Use this as an opportunity to build your community. These creative activities are compliments of Mrs. Luft! |
